I'm Stephannie — the creator of Ski Life Designs and someone who genuinely loves connecting with people. One of my favorite things in the world is how you can meet a totally random person — in a lift line, on a chairlift, in a parking lot, at a coffee shop — and somehow find something in common within minutes. Skiing does that. The mountains do that. And honestly, these tiny ski lift chairs do that too.
I started making them because I wanted to capture that feeling you get on a real lift: the quiet glide, the cold air, the anticipation, the shared moment with someone you've never met before. There's something magical about how a simple chairlift can bring people together, and I wanted to bring that feeling into everyday life.
What began as a fun idea turned into this little business where I design, package, film, photograph, and ship everything myself. I love that these chairs spark conversations — people hang them from their rearview mirrors, give them as gifts, decorate their homes, and suddenly they're telling stories about their favorite mountain or the best powder day of their life. It's connection in the simplest, sweetest form.
